For water sports enthusiasts
There is plenty of wind and waves in Lanzarote and there are some excellent spots for surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing. Visit Famara Beach, where beginners can take a course with experienced Lanzarote instructors and improve their skills. Furthermore, our windsurfing partners offer the opportunity to take lessons as well as a rental service for equipment.
The underwater world of Lanzarote is a true paradise with volcanic reefs that offer a rich marine diversity. Take classes and tours at one of the many locations, including Jason de Caires Taylor’s Museo Atlántico. An underwater museum with sculptures that represent a sensitive assessment of some of today’s socio-political issues.
Kayaking is another way to enjoy a pleasant coastal and beach tour, or to find slightly more difficult conditions in the Atlantic!
